Privacy
Last updated: 16 July 2026. This policy explains how Etienne Ralph Boxing handles your personal information, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
This site is operated for Etienne Ralph, trading as Etienne Ralph Boxing (Waterloo, Sydney). When you submit a form, your details (name, email, phone, the options you chose, and your message) are emailed to Etienne so he can reply, and a confirmation email is sent to you. Your details are not stored in a database on this website; our email provider processes them to deliver those messages. If email is unavailable, the form instead opens your own WhatsApp so you can message Etienne directly. This website does not take payments; payment is arranged directly with Etienne.
Health information
If you choose to tell us about injuries or medical conditions (for example in your message, or on the medical screening form completed before your first session), this is sensitive health information under the Privacy Act. We only collect it with your consent, use it solely to plan safe training, keep it secure, and never use it for marketing. You can decline to provide it, although that may limit the sessions we can safely offer.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information or share it for third-party marketing. To pass your enquiry to Etienne, it goes through:
- Vercel, which hosts this website and runs the booking function (United States).
- Resend, which delivers the emails (your enquiry to Etienne, and your confirmation email) on servers in Ireland (EU).
- OVH, which provides the domain name and DNS (France, EU).
- WhatsApp or Instagram, if you contact Etienne through them.
Overseas disclosure
These providers store or process data outside Australia: Vercel (United States), Resend (Ireland, EU) and OVH (France, EU). By ticking the consent box and submitting a form, you consent to your information being handled by these providers in those locations.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept only as long as needed to manage your enquiry and any coaching relationship, and are deleted within 24 months of our last contact. Signed waivers and medical screening forms are kept for 7 years after your last session (or, for clients under 18, until they turn 25) because of legal limitation periods, then securely destroyed.
Children
Bookings for anyone under 18 must be made by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without parental consent.
Cookies & analytics
The site uses minimal cookies and currently no analytics or tracking pixels. If analytics are added later, we will name the provider, explain what is collected, and update this policy.
Your rights: access & correction
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time via the support page.
Security & data breaches
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will act in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, including notifying you and the OAIC where required.
Booking & training terms
Payment, refunds, cancellations and the risk warning for training are covered in our Terms.
Complaints & contact
