Tasmania, 14 March 2026. Eight rounds against Sebastian Wells with two belts on the line, and all three judges going the same way.
The year had opened in Thailand with a first-round stoppage. Two wins in a row, the record back to 3–3, and a title fight on the other side of the country: the WBC's Silver title for the Australasian region and the ANBF's Australasian title, both at super middleweight, both on the same night.
Eight rounds, clean fundamentals, and a unanimous decision. Etienne left the ring with both belts: WBC Silver Australasian and ANBF Australasian champion, the first professional titles of his career.
The belts came home to Waterloo, where Etienne trains out of Bondi Boxing Club and coaches one-on-one between camps. The next chapter was announced in August: the return in Campsie, and a fourth-round stoppage to go with it.
